Bird's Nest Treat

I found a candy bar in a bird's nest this morning. And you ask, "how did it get there?"

My daughter, Tina, knows I have a craving for Cup O' Gold candy bars. They are a little hard to find but they are available at our local Fred Meyer stores here in Oregon. When she comes to visit she brings a stash of Cup O' Golds and hides them around the house before she leaves. The bird's nest is behind glass in an antique lawyer's book case in our living room. She is very cleaver. Last time she was here was Christmas. Just prior to Christmas, I found a Cup O' Gold on top of the fire extinguisher. I guess I'm thankful I didn't have cause to find it sooner.

This picture was taken of Tina and I last spring, outside the Tidal Rave restaurant in Depoe Bay, Oregon. I adopted Tina in 1973 when she was nine months old.

Tina, if you read this, I love you and I hope you never quit playing games.
